After more than 2 years of service, our tropical doctors: Bart and Carla Hugen, are about to leave for home. In those two years, they have been instrumental in realizing many improvements in the hospital and in the Therapeutic Feeding Centre, implemented medical protocols, developed and improved systems for records keeping and patients statistics, the Maternity Ward and gave the care for infants and children an enormous boost, to name just a few of their achievements.
They are being replaced by Erdi Huizenga, who arrived in Magbenteh on October 1st, and Saskia van Zadelhoff who started her job on November 1st. The picture shows the incoming and outgoing doctors together with the resident staff.
