June 17th 2019 will be marked as a special day for the Swiss-Sierra Leone Development Foundation as class 6 has completed their academic studies at Magbenteh Community Boarding School. A graduation ceremony was held on school grounds including parents of the graduates and a few special guests. These guests included a friend of SSLDF Mohammed Bangura from England who Is Sierra Leonian and born in Makeni, he spoke with the children about the struggles they will face in the coming years, and how he knows their challenges and encouraged them to keep moving forward. Another special guest was the Head of Inspector of the schools in Makeni.
We would like to shine a light on two-star pupils Edward Kamara & Adama Kamara who finished top of their class. Congratulations and know your hard work paid off.
As the ceremony gave way the students received a graduation diploma and a MCBS sash. We are excited for the pupils of class 6 and can’t wait to hear of their progress in Secondary School. SSLDF is fully committed to MCBS and it`s pupils as we move into our next academic year and welcome a new class 6.
