This month we received a welcomed visit from Nicolas and Carla from L`appel Deutschland a German organization focused on health and education in Sierra Leone and Rwanda. During their short visit we discussed the continuation of MCBS and opening the boarding accommodations for the 2019/2020 school year. It was decided that we will begin renovations to ready the boarding house for between 60 and 120 students who need it most, such as the young children from Petbana. L’appel also put forward plans for potential collaboration with German hospitals and universities, in order to both create a recurrent presence of international donors and volunteers and to build capacity at the hospital.
